- How do I join the club?
Let us know you're interested in joining by clicking on Contact Us and send us a note. If there is a slot available we'll send you an application, if not we'll let you know we've added you to the waiting list.
- How much does it cost to be a member?
A one time initiation fee of $500 and $145 a month in membership dues to maintain membership.
- What if I'm not already a pilot?
If you've got 10,000 or 0 hours you're welcomed at LBFC. If you're considering obtaining your private pilot license flight instruction is allowed in club aircraft with the club approved CFI!
- Where are we based out of?
Monroe Municipal airport, KEFT.
- What are some membership benefits?
Access to club aircraft at inexpensive dry rates. 1 hour of dry time per month is included in your membership dues. Membership benefits can be extended to direct family members for primary flight training on a case by case basis.
- Is it easy to schedule time?
It's a snap! We've partnered with Flight Circle to track scheduling, maintenance, and billing all online. You can book time and be in the air in minutes.
- How do you measure time?
All rentals are measured using Tach time.
- Are multi-day rentals allowed?
Yes overnight rentals are allowed! Plan a weekend adventure and have fun! Multi-day rentals are subject to a 2-hour per day minimum.
- Is the LBFC an equity or non-equity club?
LBFC has been organized as a non-equity club. This lowers the initial price of entry and makes flight more accessible!
